Relax
in our 150 year old log cabin. Outside you will find an inviting
front porch connecting to a wrap-around deck. Relax and view
birds and wildlife from the deck, sit in the swing on the
front porch, take a walk in the woods, or enjoy a soak in
the new hot tub under the stars. Total relaxation and privacy
await you at every turn at A Little

Inside, a fully-equipped kitchen and bath with ceramic tile
floors adjoin the original log structure which features a
cozy fireside living room and open sleeping loft. A forced
air furnace and central air conditioning are there to comfort
you when Mother Nature doesn't. With a queen bed in the loft
and a queen futon downstairs A Little
Log Cabin in the Woods comfortably sleeps one couple,
two singles, one couple with one single, or two couples. (Another
cabin designed for larger groups is in the construction phase.)
History
exudes from the hand-hewn logs of this 150-year-old cabin
with massive stone fireplace. Wildlife abounds in the surrounding
woods with wild turkey, white-tailed deer and more songbirds
than you'll see in a lifetime in the city. Birding can be
a rigorous hiking experience in the hundreds of acres of adjacent
Hoosier National Forest or laid back, sipping coffee
in the front porch rocker while observing the dozens of birds
at the cabin's feeder. If you carefully slip onto the porch
near dawn or dusk, you may see a deer, turkey or Grey fox
coming to the cabin's watering hole. On the other hand - you
might just want to sleep in.
