A Little Log Cabin in the Woods
is conveniently located a few miles south of French Lick,
off State Road 145. The map below shows the cabin and the
home of owners Carl & Therese Pryor. The driving directions
below the map lead you to our residence. Please come to our
home/office for check-in, and we will take you to A
Little Log Cabin in the Woods.

of our guests. Please do not drop by the cabin or our home without
calling first. We are happy to show the cabin only if it is empty,

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM INDIANAPOLIS
Take I-465 to State Road 37 South. Stay on SR 37 South
past Bloomington and Bedford to Paoli. On the Paoli town
square you will see our beautiful court house built in 1850.
Go only 1/4 way around the square and go West on SR 56 and
150. Stay on SR 56, as SR 150 will split off to Shoals.
Stay left on SR 56 to West Baden and French Lick, which
are only one mile apart. You will pass the West Baden Dome
on your right, and then you will come to the French Lick
Springs Resort Hotel. At the hotel parking lot turn left
(South) onto SR 145. Take SR 145 South exactly 10 miles
to County Rd 875 S. Turn left (East) onto CR 875 S and go
exactly 2 miles to our driveway. (You will pass a sawmill
about 1/4 mile before you reach our driveway, which is the
next left.)
Turn into the drive at the mailbox (6538 W County Rd 875
S) and follow the drive up to the house for check-in. The
house is grey with a red roof and is 1/4 mile back off the
road.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM EVANSVILLE
| Use the NEW road (at
the State Road 37 exit) connecting I-64 to our area.
There are no stops or turnoffs until the right turn
onto our county road: |
Take I-64 East to State Road 37 North at Exit 79. (Do
not exit on Old 145 at Exit 72). Follow SR 37 North
for seven miles, then continue on the main road on State
Road 64 West, for just a mile, and then continue onto State
Road 145 North and cross the main causeway of Patoka Lake.
North of the causeway about a mile you will turn right (East)
onto County Road 875 S. Go exactly two miles and you will
be at our drive. (You will pass a sawmill about 1/4 mile
before you reach our driveway, which is the next left.)
Turn into the drive at the mailbox (6538 W. County Rd.
875 S.) and follow the drive up to the house for check-in.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM CINCINNATI OR LOUISVILLE AREAS

From Cincinnati take I-71 South to Louisville.
Temporarily, the I-64 bridge from Louisville to Indiana is closed for repairs. The detour is I-65
North to I-265 West to I-64 West.
From Indiana take I-64 West past Corydon, IN. Continue west to exit 79 (State Road 37 North.) Take 37 North to State Road 64 West (64 West for only about one mile thru a large S Curve that continues into State Road 145 North to Patoka Lake and French Lick. You will see the intersection of State Road 164 West to Jasper. Pass that intersection and mark your odometer for exactly four miles - that will bring you to County Road 875 S. Turn right on County Road 875 S. Go exactly two miles and you will be at our drive (6538 W. County Rd. 875 S.)
You will pass a sawmill about 1/4 mile before reaching our driveway, which is the next drive on the left past the sawmill. The house is gray with a red roof and sits about 1/4 mile back off the road to your left.
